How do weekly check-ins work?

Each week, you and your partner complete a 10-minute check-in with 6 simple questions about your relationship. Topics include connection, appreciation, concerns, communication, and needs. After both partners complete the check-in, you'll receive AI-powered insights comparing your responses and highlighting areas of alignment or growth.

How do I connect with my partner?

Go to the Partner tab in the app and tap "Invite Partner." You can share an invite link via text, email, or any messaging app. Once your partner creates an account using your link, you'll be automatically connected and can start doing check-ins together.

Are my responses private?

Yes! During each check-in, some questions are marked as "private" - these responses are never shared with your partner. Only you can see them. Shared responses are compared with your partner's answers to generate insights, but you control what's shared through your privacy settings.

Can I use Pulse without a partner?

Absolutely! Pulse is designed for individuals who want to improve their relationship skills, not just couples. You can complete check-ins solo to reflect on your relationship, track your emotional patterns, and get personalized insights. When you're ready, you can invite your partner to join.

What if my partner doesn't want to use the app?

That's completely okay! Many users start with Pulse on their own. You can still benefit from weekly reflections, AI coaching, and relationship tools. Over time, as your partner sees the positive changes, they may become interested in joining too.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > Pulse > Cancel Subscription.

Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Pulse > Cancel.

Web: Go to Settings in the app and click "Manage Subscription."

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are processed through the platform where you purchased your subscription:

iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
Android: Contact Google Play support
Web: Email us at support@pulsetherapy.app

Technical Support

The app is crashing or not loading

Try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Check for app updates in the App Store or Google Play
  3. Restart your device
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is saved to your account)

If the issue persists, email us with your device model and iOS/Android version.

I'm not receiving notifications

Make sure notifications are enabled:

  1. Go to your device Settings > Notifications > Pulse
  2. Enable "Allow Notifications"
  3. In the Pulse app, go to Settings > Notifications and enable reminders

I can't log into my account

If you're having trouble signing in:

  • Use the "Forgot Password" link to reset your password
  • If you signed up with Apple or Google, use the same method to sign in
  • Make sure you're using the correct email address
  • Check your spam folder for verification emails

Privacy & Security

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data, check-in history, and disconnect you from your partner. This action cannot be undone.

How do I disconnect from my partner?

Go to Partner > Settings > Disconnect Partner. Your individual data remains in your account, but shared responses will no longer be accessible to either partner. You can connect with a new partner at any time.

How is my data protected?

We take your privacy seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, we never sell your information, and your relationship data is never used to train AI models. Read our full Privacy Policy for more details.
